Robert Jones graduated from Southampton University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) and has worked in a mix of NHS roles and private clinics since. Robert is a senior clinician in a local NHS trust and is responsible for mentoring and teaching other physiotherapists. He spent a season working with the academy at Stevenage FC and has had further sports experience through several internships with professional rugby.
Robert is interested in and particularly enjoys treating patients with shoulder and back problems. He uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise based rehabilitation, with a focus on the individual patient’s goals. He is also qualified in the use of acupuncture for pain relief.
Formerly a competitive sprint hurdler to a national standard, Robert now enjoys going to the gym to keep fit and healthy.
