The team at Bodybalance are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of the athletes we’ve had the pleasure of supporting. Their hard work and dedication were on full display at the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we couldn’t be prouder of their outstanding performances.

Mari Durward-Akhurst, our sponsored Para-dressage athlete, delivered an exceptional performance on her mare, Athene Lindebjerg, winning Paralympic Bronze in Grade 1 Freestyle with an impressive 71.79%. Mari’s journey has been a testament to determination, and her commitment to her sport is inspiring!

Louise Fiddes, a previous client, brought home Paralympic Gold in the Women’s SB14 100m Breaststroke and bronze in the 200m Freestyle S14. Her dedication to swimming has been unflinching and and watching her continue to excel on the world stage fills us with pride.

Phoebe Gill, only 17 years old, showed incredible talent and grit to make it to the Olympic athletics semi-finals of the 800m event. We've enjoyed supporting Phoebe over the last few years through the work we do as part of the Hertfordshire Talented Athlete Programme (HTAP). Although Phoebe didn't make it to the final, we are incredibly proud of her achievements and look forward to continuing the support as she builds on this success.

We also celebrate the success of the Australian Sailing Team (whom Eric has worked with earlier in the Olympic cycle). They had some exceptional results, securing Olympic Gold and Silver medals in the ILCA-6 and windsurfing, alongside three additional top ten finishes. Their success on the water is remarkable, and we’re honoured to have been a small part of their journey.

As the summer of sport comes to an end, we are filled with pride and excitement for what the future holds for these phenomenal athletes. Well done to each and every one of you!
