Rachel Aldiss qualified as a physiotherapist in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) from University of East London, having previously also obtained a degree in Sports Therapy from Herts Uni in 2016 which included internships in professional rugby with Cardiff Blues and here in our own team at Bodybalance.
Following graduation as a physiotherapist, Rachel worked both in the NHS and at a private hospital to develop her experience, particularly in orthopaedics. Rachel has also worked with in American football for past 8 years, including with the GB national teams.
Rachel's own interest in physiotherapy began as an active teenager when she developed Osgood Schlatters pains in her knees. Limited access to services in rural Wales meant she had to do a lot of self lead rehab. Today Rachel continues to have a particular interest in lower limb problems, including in the younger population. Her approach is centred around promoting an active lifestyle, through education, manual therapy and exercise prescription.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys power lifting in the gym, playing American football gym and spending time in the mountains back home in Wales.
